Alyssa Lindgren is a registered nurse with eight years of clinical experience and active licensure in all fifty US states. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mississippi College. Alyssa primarily serves adult patients and reviews Lifeline content for clinical accuracy, safety, and tone.
Alyssa originally planned to attend physician assistant school, but after shadowing she chose nursing for the way nurses work at the bedside. After completing her accelerated BSN in 2018, she began her career in trauma orthopedics, worked through the pandemic including time in a COVID intensive care unit, then spent three years in outpatient surgery supporting patients through gastrointestinal procedures and cardioversions for atrial fibrillation. She later spent more than four years working remotely on medication compliance and persistency for patients on autoimmune therapies and other complex pharmaceuticals.
In her current role, Alyssa helped build the chronic care management program at 100Plus from the ground up alongside her colleague Julia. The work brings together the breadth of Alyssa’s clinical experience and her steady focus on helping patients optimize their health, one relationship at a time.
“I’m caring, and I apply extensive knowledge and experience. I’m passionate about my patients and their treatment, and about optimizing their health.”
