Sales Director West Zone at Lifeline
Stephanie Garrigan, LCSW, MBA, MSW, is a Senior Account Manager at Lifeline and a licensed clinical social worker with nearly 40 years of healthcare experience spanning medical social work, dialysis program management, senior home care, and government-focused sales leadership. A long-tenured Lifeline professional with roots at Philips Lifeline, she brings a uniquely clinical and mission-driven perspective to connected care, government partnerships, and the safety and independence of aging adults.
Stephanie Garrigan is one of the most experienced voices at the intersection of healthcare social work, aging services, and connected care at Lifeline. Her career spans nearly four decades and reflects a rare arc: from bedside medical social worker to dialysis program administrator to senior home care agency founder to Lifeline territory leader to government-focused sales director.
Stephanie holds dual master’s degrees — an MSW from the University of Illinois Chicago specializing in Social Service Administration, and an MBA in Health Care Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management — as well as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential from the State of Illinois, issued 1989. That clinical foundation shapes everything she does. Her perspective on aging, safety, independence, and caregiver support is grounded in direct patient care experience, not just industry expertise.
She began her career as a medical social worker at Michael Reese Hospital and Loyola University Medical Center, then founded Social Work Consultation Services, Inc., a woman-owned business enterprise she grew to $13 million in revenue. She later moved into dialysis program management at Renal Care Group, DSI Renal, and DaVita, where her growth of the home dialysis program region by 5% in the first year drew recognition for her troubleshooting skills and leadership ability.
In 2014, Stephanie joined Golden Heart Senior Care Chicago as Administrator, obtaining licensure for in-home care services and building out a full-service senior care agency from the ground up. She then joined Philips Lifeline and later Lifeline Systems as Territory Manager and Senior Territory Manager, partnering with governmental agencies and Medicaid and Medicare managed care organizations across the Midwest (Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin) to expand access to personal emergency response services for vulnerable older adults.
In her role as Sales Director, West Zone at Lifeline, she led government and B2B partnerships for Lifeline’s connected care digital technology platform across the western United States, with a focus on state and local government agencies, managed care organizations, and aging services networks. She attended HLTH USA 2025 in Las Vegas, where Lifeline launched its Lifeline Connect program. She serves as an Advisory Council Member of AgeOptions, the Area Agency on Aging for suburban Cook County, Illinois, where she has contributed since 2018.
Stephanie’s writing and thought leadership focus on family caregivers, aging-in-place, and the systems that support them. Her authentic voice as both a clinician and a practitioner makes her a trusted contributor on the human side of connected care.
